'Celebration' in Giclée Print by Nathaniel Mundia

Enjoy the recent downlisting of this iconic species from the endangered species list by owning this archival print! In early July of this year the giant panda was declared non-endangered by the Chinese authorities which we celebrated with the publication of this special piece. Still threatened though, poaching and loss of habitat remain the most significant threat to their survival, which is why 10% of any sale of this print shall be donated to WWF to help in their vital work in preserving these animals.

Did you know that in ancient Asia, it was believed that pandas could ward off evil spirits and keep natural disasters away. In China, pandas were considered a symbol of peace so that when a flag bearing its picture was held up during a fight between tribes, this meant they wanted to call a truce or stop the fighting all together.
