'June Dusk' in Giclée Print by Nathaniel Mundia

Native to the UK and widespread across woodland, farmland, grassland and heathland habitats, the attractive roe deer and his fawn are captured here by the artist so life-like, as if one has just stumbled upon them feeding, as they would at dusk (or dawn) when they are most active.

Roe deer have been hunted from prehistoric times. They became extinct in England, Wales and southern Scotland during the 18th century and populations were re-introduced to southern England (Dorset) and East Anglia in the 19th century.
