Spring in Giclée Print by Michelle Morris
A special piece originally painted on rice paper, this is my first published watercolour artwork. I have always adored 18th century chinoiserie and have been fascinated by the stories and images depicted on the Chinese wallpapers and murals. The flowers in this piece are an inspiration from a wallpaper installed in 1771 by Chippendale at Nostell Priory, West Yorkshire.

Beautiful 24 carat pure gold leaf enhances this enchanting print and may be hand applied. A gold moon is added on the background as pictured. This may be arranged by clicking the gold leaf print in the size options. Kindly note that this is only available in the 210mm x 297mm size print.

About Gold Leaf:
Gold leaf is gold that has been hammered into thin sheets known as goldbeating, for use in gilding. The most common size is 80mm x80mm.
We use 24 carat pure gold leaf to hand apply as an embellishment to our print. Our supplier is a family run well established company based in Bridgend, UK.
